On Monday 15th March at 5.30pm, Chris Matheson (Member of Parliament for the City of Chester) will host a live, public webinar to discuss plans to improve road safety on the A41.
“The A41 through Christleton, Rowton, Waverton and down towards Broxton is a well-known traffic hotspot.
“There have been some terrible accidents in recent years and that’s why I am working cross-party with Labour’s Police and Crime Commissioner David Keane, Conservative MP for Eddisbury Edward Timpson, and local councillors along this stretch of road to find long term solutions to this issue.
“Working with Cheshire West and Chester Council, we’ve been looking at traffic calming, including average speed cameras, because now is the time for physical measures to improve safety for all road users, including cyclists and pedestrians.”
