Owners Of City Hotel Win Best Employer Award

The Valour Hospitality Group, who run Chester’s Crowne Plaza Hotel, has won Best Employer at a national catering awards ceremony.

Since their inception in 1984, The Cateys have cast a spotlight on the catering industry’s highest flyers, strongest performers and hottest brands.

Chester MP, Chris Matheson, met the hotel's General Manager, Donn Timmons last week (Thursday 6th October) to congratulate the team on their successes.

Mr Timmons said: “The Valour Hospitality Group is keen to look after its staff and here at the Crowne Plaza we work hard as a team to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. We are proud to accept this award.”

Chris said: “Good hotels are good for our city and good employers are too. I was grateful to meet with Donn and the team at the Crowne Plaza and happy to congratulate them on their successes at this year’s awards.”
